Shane was born and raised in a place just outside of Mahone Bay called Martins Point, Nova Scotia. He has lived there off and on for the last 29 years.

Shane got into the insurance Industry after growing up with no grandparents due to cancer, while also experiencing his Father having a heart attack. He witnessed first-hand how important having the right insurance in place really was.

Shane plays many sports and has seen how quick an accident can happen that could leave someone not being able to put food on the table.
